I attempted to do some camping today, but I failed to check the forecast and dress accordingly. I was warm this mornign. About halfway down the 9-mile unmaintained trail to an unmaintained backcounty site, a storm blew in, and I was freezing and not exactly in the mood to go camping anymore, so I turned around. But with all the weight of the rain on the leaves, the completely overgrown trail completely disappeared. The hike in was about 2.5hours. Getting out took five, and after crashing around in bush so dense I could barely move at times (with all my camping gear on my back) and eventually came out onto the road about a mile away from the trailhead.

Today kinda sucked.
